Old expectations about who you should be, how you should love, or what you should look like are getting heavy.
Eating, movement and body image take up more of your energy than you want them to.
Tension, panic or numbness that doesn't match the moment, and memories that still feel close.
Queer, poly, open, or still figuring it out, and you want a counsellor who gets it without needing a lecture.
They need a safe, affirming adult to talk to who isn't a parent or a teacher.
Questions about identity, sexuality and gender deserve curiosity and care, never judgement.
I've come to believe that there is no single “right” way to be a person, to love, or to move through the world.

Much of my work, and my own life, has been about creating space to question old expectations and discover what authenticity truly looks like.
Our identities, relationships, and lived experiences shape the way we move through the world. My passion is creating a space where you can feel safe to show up fully as yourself while navigating growth, healing, and self-discovery.
I work with people of all ages, with a particular passion for supporting queer individuals, youth (12+), and anyone navigating eating disorders or a complicated relationship with food and body.
My approach is collaborative and client-centred, grounded in a trauma-informed lens. I'm trained in EMDR, with a particular interest in CBT and somatic awareness practices. I'll often invite you to gently notice sensations in your body as part of understanding emotions and processing experiences, building a deeper connection between mind and body.
As a member of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, I'm passionate about creating an affirming, inclusive space for individuals and partners navigating identity, sexuality, and relationship dynamics.
Outside of therapy, I enjoy spending time in nature with my wife and dog.
My own lived experience has shaped my work with queer identities and relationships.
A space where you don't have to explain or defend who you are before the real work can begin.
Queer partnerships, heterosexual couples, and ethically non-monogamous relationships, including polyamory and open relationships.
Exploring communication, boundaries, attachment, intimacy, and the complexities of modern relationships.
Trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to support you in processing trauma and difficult life experiences.
We move at a pace that feels safe, with attention to what your body is telling you.
My practice integrates Health at Every Size (HAES) principles, functional movement, and body acceptance.
Support for eating disorders and complicated relationships with food and body, without weight-loss goals or food rules.
Reaching out can be the hardest part. Here's what happens after you do.
